Apollo Moon – Trans Masc Star

Sad news was received earlier this month that trans masc performer, Apollo Moon had passed away. Although the cause of his death has not been published, he died in the hospital and his sister posted that Apollo had ‘secumbed to his injuries and passed away’.

A popular figure in the trans community he was an advocate and a big supporter for trans rights. As a performer he done multuple scenes for studios, as well as many shared content with other performers.

Cher Mii wrote: “Sitting here listening to all the silly audio messages we used to leave each other, still in disbelief.

“I love this man dearly. There is so much I could say, but words would do little justice in properly conveying the depth of this loss. Your memory is a blessing.”

Rose Montoya tweeted, “Absolutely devastated to hear of your passing. I love you. RIP,” alongside a photoshoot they did in March.”

A longtime fan added: “Rest in peace, Apollo Moon, watching you grow and spread positivity was always the highlight of my day 🙁 Fly high.”

Apollo was 26 when he died.

Olivia Love. Superstar.

Trans adult industry legend Olivia Love passed away from her battle with cancer on September 19, 2024. According to a personal source, Love was surrounded by friends and family.

“Olivia Love was one of the trailblazing generation of trans models in the 1990s who made the leap from VHS to the internet, long before trans erotica was widely accepted,” said Grooby CEO Steven Grooby. “I was lucky enough to get to know her, first meeting her at the Queen Mary on Ventura Blvd. in the late 1990s and at parties and productions over the following decade. She was a vivacious, extremely funny girl, and a very important actress who appeared in hundreds of scenes, never letting the fact she was deaf hinder her in any way whatsoever. This is a very sad loss, and someone who was enjoying her life after porn, as a dog groomer in Florida.”

Longtime Grooby producer Buddy Wood added, “When I first started in this industry, there were a handful of girls that were trans porn superstars from the 90s and early 2000’s and Olivia Love was definitely one of them. I was so nervous when I first met her, but we became very good friends and worked together often. There was a time when she and Morgan Bailey were always together, and we had some of the best times of my life!”

“In the early 2000s, I arrived in Los Angeles and met Olivia Love through our mutual friend, Buddy Wood,” added performer Morgan Bailey. “The three of us shared wild adventures—memories that remain vivid in my heart. But beyond Olivia, I came to know Crystal. Learning sign language brought us closer, creating a bond that transcended friendship. She became like a sister to me. Though time and distance caused us to drift apart, I hold tight to the moments we shared. Crystal’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on in my heart and the stories we continue to tell. Rest easy, sweet lady.”

Domino Presley said, “Olivia Love was a true legend in our industry. Her smile and laugh could light up a room. I am sad to hear of her passing and wish her loved ones the best during this time.”

Olivia Love debuted on GroobyGirls.com in 1999, in her first shoot with Bob Maverick. According to IAFD.com, Love amassed an impressive 147 scene credits over the length of her career. She was an AVN Awards nominee and a TEA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. She is considered one of the most well-known performers in the trans adult industry.

She eventually retired from the adult industry and eventually relocated to Florida where she enjoyed her life as a dog groomer.

Koko Beans – Grooby Model Passes

How very sad to hear that the model known as Koko or Koko Beans on our site, passed away last month in what I believe was an automobile accident.

Koko originally started shooting with our East coast producer at the time Remy, back in 2014 and was immediately popular on the sites with her good looks, vibrant personality and one of the biggest smiles we’ve ever published.

She went on to work with her friend, and a producer for us at the time, Amy Sex Kitten through to her last appearance in 2019. Many of us will remember from her attending, and doing interviews at the TEAs and her social media engagement.

Our thoughts and love with her friends and family.

Koko was 30 years old when she passed. RIP Koko Beans.

Ecstatic / Ernie – Man of Many Talents

Ernie otherwise known as Ecstatic had been on the skirts of the industry for a couple of years, as an original member of Hungangels.com, and early social media before he turned his hand to producing content for models, for their own sites. He had a brief spell producing for Grooby, but he’ll be mainly remembered and loved for his own site, PILadyboy.com which specialised in Filipino trans girls, giving them a platform and a voice – as well as his partnerships with many girls including Krissy4U, Wendy Summers and his good friend Tempest (TS-Rockdolls.com) among others. With a technical background, he was well placed to help girls get their sites launched and host them at a fraction of what other companies would have offered – and he brought his friendship and love of all things trans, as a free bonus! As well as hosting, he was involved in the webmastering of the site, marketing and all the small things that come from digital media sales.

Ernie, along with Tempest were regular sponsors and guests at the TEA Awards where they had many friends, or became friends with everyone they met. Ernie was genuinely, and I don’t believe I could find anyone who would disagree, one of the nicest people you could meet, with a kind word for everyone. Ernie wasn’t in the industry so much as to make money for himself, but to help many models get their sites off the ground and running, when they otherwise wouldn’t have been able. He seemed to enjoy being part of the process. I know that there are many who are grateful to him for his suppport and friendship over the years.

I’d been aware Ernie had been ill for some time, and Tempest informed me in early November 2023 that he’d passed.

I hope that Ernie’s life outside of the character we met and loved, was as happy and as joyous as he seemed. He was a unique individual, who was at the earliest onset of the internet and subsequently the birth of digital trans porn, and we don’t see people like him any longer in this industry. I’ll cherish his memory of meeting the man, and knowing how many people he touched, over 25 years – and send my love and respects to those who knew him more than I, and have lost a friend.

RIP Ernie/Ecstatic.

I just got the news
I am saddened to hear of your journey’s end
In this world
I have thought of you often
As I always will
In this world
But I know that there are golden shores
Far beyond where we have walked
In this world
And some day I will see your smiling face
Your radiant joyous stride as you greet me
Far far beyond,
This world
RIP Ernie

Love always – Tempest
